Terms & Conditions

By booking a tour with UNIKAT E-Bike Tours ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not book or participate in any of our tours.

These Terms apply to all customers, including individuals, groups, and bookings made through partner hotels or third-party platforms.

2.1 Booking Confirmation

A booking is confirmed only when you receive a booking confirmation email or booking number from us. We reserve the right to decline any booking at our discretion.

2.2 Payment Terms

• Full payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed
• Prices are quoted in Indonesian Rupiah (IDR) unless otherwise stated
• Prices include e-bike rental, helmet, guide services, and items specified in tour description
• We accept cash, bank transfer, and credit card payments

2.3 Price Changes

We reserve the right to change tour prices at any time. However, once a booking is confirmed, the quoted price will be honored.

3.1 Cancellation by Customer

• More than 48 hours before tour: Full refund minus 10% administrative fee
• 24-48 hours before tour: 50% refund
• Less than 24 hours before tour: No refund
• No-show: No refund

3.2 Cancellation by Company

We reserve the right to cancel tours due to:

• Severe weather conditions
• Insufficient participants (minimum group size not met)
• Safety concerns
• Force majeure events

In such cases, you will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule to another date.

3.3 Rescheduling

Requests to reschedule must be made at least 48 hours before the tour. One free reschedule is permitted; subsequent changes may incur an administrative fee.

4.1 Age Requirements

• Minimum age: 12 years old (or as specified for specific tours)
• Participants under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian
• Minors must have parental consent on the liability waiver

4.2 Physical Requirements

Participants must:

• Be in good physical health
• Be able to ride a bicycle
• Weigh less than 120 kg (265 lbs)
• Not be pregnant
• Not be under the influence of alcohol or drugs

4.3 Medical Conditions

You must inform us of any medical conditions, disabilities, allergies, or dietary requirements at the time of booking. We reserve the right to refuse participation if we believe your condition poses a safety risk.

All participants must sign a liability waiver before the tour. The waiver includes acknowledgment of:

• Inherent risks associated with e-bike activities
• Release of liability for injuries or damages
• Assumption of personal responsibility
• Medical fitness declaration

Failure to sign the waiver will result in non-participation without refund.

6.1 Participant Obligations

Participants must:

• Arrive at the meeting point on time (tours will not wait for late arrivals)
• Follow all instructions from guides
• Wear provided safety equipment at all times
• Ride within their ability level
• Respect local communities and environment
• Not engage in reckless or dangerous behavior

6.2 Right to Remove Participants

We reserve the right to remove any participant from a tour if they:

• Behave in a manner that endangers themselves or others
• Fail to follow guide instructions
• Are under the influence of alcohol or drugs
• Behave inappropriately or disruptively

No refund will be provided in such cases.

7.1 Equipment Care

You are responsible for the e-bike and equipment provided to you. You must:

• Use equipment properly and as instructed
• Report any damage or malfunction immediately
• Not attempt to repair equipment yourself
• Return all equipment at the end of the tour

7.2 Damage Liability

You will be held financially responsible for damage to equipment resulting from:

• Negligence or misuse
• Failure to follow instructions
• Reckless behavior
• Loss or theft (if not reported immediately)

Normal wear and tear is excluded from this liability.

We strongly recommend that all participants obtain comprehensive travel insurance covering:

• Medical expenses and emergency evacuation
• Personal accident
• Trip cancellation
• Personal liability

UNIKAT E-Bike Tours is not responsible for any costs associated with medical treatment, evacuation, or repatriation.

We are not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to personal property during tours. Participants should not bring valuable items unless necessary and should secure belongings at all times.

By participating in our tours, you consent to photographs and videos being taken for marketing purposes. If you do not wish to be photographed, please inform your guide at the start of the tour.

You retain the right to take your own photos during the tour, subject to respecting local customs, private property, and other participants' privacy.

We shall not be liable for failure to perform our obligations due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:

• Natural disasters (earthquakes, floods, volcanic eruptions)
• Severe weather conditions
• Government restrictions or regulations
• Civil unrest or political instability
• Pandemics or health emergencies
• Acts of terrorism

In such events, we will work with you to reschedule or provide a refund as appropriate.

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the tour
• We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages
• We are not liable for losses that could have been avoided by reasonable precautions

This limitation does not apply to liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.

We collect and process personal information in accordance with applicable data protection laws. Your information is used solely for:

• Processing bookings and payments
• Communicating about your tour
• Emergency contact purposes
• Improving our services

We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Indonesia. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bali, Indonesia.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on our website and will apply to bookings made after the date of change. Your continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any modifications.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
